We wanted to take a moment to update you on the progress of our Lake George Elementary School principal search and to thank the many families who took the time to complete our stakeholder survey. We truly appreciate you sharing your thoughts about the qualities and priorities that matter most for the next leader of LGES.
We are also excited to share the results of our student survey, which included responses from students in grades 3–6. Their voices are an important part of this process, and their feedback helps ensure that student perspectives are considered as we move forward in selecting our next elementary principal. You will find a link to the community and student survey results below.
Applications for the elementary principal position close today (March 12). Once applications have been reviewed, we will begin the interview process. First-round interviews are scheduled for March 23, followed by committee interviews on April 14 at LGES.
We have also received significant interest from parents wishing to participate in the parent committee, and we are grateful for your willingness to be involved. Additional information about the committee will be shared soon as we look to ensure we have a diverse representation across grade levels of parents on the committee.
