ParentSquare Resources for families

The district utilizes ParentSquare to share news, district emergencies and school announcements. The system utilizes calls, emails and texting.

Additionally, ParentSquare will be utilized to share many of the summer documents and forms that were previously mailed home.

How do families activate their ParentSquare account?

Follow these steps to activate your account:

1. Open the mobile app OR visit https://www.parentsquare.com/signin 
2. Enter your Email or Cell Phone Number (must match the one on file with the district)
3. Click Go
4. Enter a password
5. Enter the verification code that was texted or emailed to you

ParentSquare Resources for Community Members

Community members will receive district announcements that pertain to the whole community (i.e. community forums and events, newsletters, voting information, and significant news and information). To join our ParentSquare community group, please click the photo below.

ParentSquare Mobile App

The ParentSquare mobile application is now available to parents/guardians and students who have a ParentSquare account and an iOS or Android device. This app is available for Apple Devices in the App Store and the Google Play Store for Android Devices.

SchoolTool

The Lake George Central School District is pleased to provide students and their parents and guardians with access to student information records via the SchoolTool Parent Portal. Parents and guardians can access data for their children from grades K-12. Students can access their information in grades 7-12. 

The Lake George Central School District is pleased to provide parents and guardians with access to student information records via the SchoolTool Parent Portal. In order to protect the confidentiality of student records, all parents/guardians who would like access are required to complete this form and return it in person to your child’s school. For security purposes, a photo ID is required when you return this form.

SchoolTool Mobile App

The SchoolTool mobile application is now available to parents/guardians and students who have a SchoolTool parent portal account and an iOS or Android device. App users can log in to see information about student schedules, assignments and attendance. This app is available for Apple Devices in the App Store and the Google Play Store for Android Devices.

Closings and Delays

As the winter months approach we would like to remind you how you will receive notice if school will be operating under a delay or will be closed due to inclement weather.

All cancellations, delays or early dismissals are posted on the school district’s website, right on the homepage of the website. The decision to close or delay the starting time of school will be made as early as possible. School closings are also announced through the media via the School Closing Network (which includes many local TV & radio stations as well as newspaper websites.)

Closing information will also be sent directly to a parents/guardian’s email account and cell phone via text message via ParentSquare. In order to receive a text message, parents/guardians must sign up for SMS text message alerts through the district’s ParentSquare system by opting in on the alerts in ParentSquare.
