For the first time ever, 16 students were inducted into the Lake George chapter of Tri-M Music Honor Society, marking a major milestone for Lake George Jr.-Sr. High School. Tri-M is a national organization that recognizes student musicians who have gone above and beyond, both academically and musically, and this inaugural group represents the very best of that commitment and talent.

The celebration began on Wednesday, January 7, during 10th period, with the official induction ceremony welcoming students into the honor society. The festivities continued on Thursday, January 8, with a Tri-M Honors & Alumni Concert from 6:30–8:30 p.m. The concert featured performances by Lake George extracurricular ensembles, Alumni, and current Tri-M members, showcasing the depth of musical talent and the strong tradition of music at Lake George.
This first-ever induction not only honors these students’ hard work, but also sets the stage for a vibrant future for Tri-M at Lake George, one rooted in excellence, leadership, and a shared love of music.
