Elementary Clubs and Activities

LGES is excited to share the many after-school activities that we have to offer! The Specialists have planned a variety of opportunities for students to enjoy. While some activities may overlap in scheduling, we hope this gives your child more choices and opportunities to explore. We encourage you to help your child decide which activities best match their interests and understand that they are committed to the clubs or activities they choose. Below you will find descriptions of the activities currently offered. Know that more activities than listed may be added throughout the year. Permission slips with additional details will be sent home by the teacher leading each activity.

Transportation Details

  • A late bus run is available at 3:10 PM. You will be able to sign your child up to take the late bus on the individual permission slips that will come home.
  • Parent pick-up is at 3:10 PM outside the library doors, by the playground swings. For safety reasons, students cannot be dismissed to parents beyond this area. Please arrive by 3:05 PM so your child is ready for dismissal.
  • Any changes to your child’s dismissal must be communicated with a written note/parent square message to the teacher running the activity and/or communicated to the main office before 1 PM that day. Note that attendance for activities that have culminating events/performances is extremely important and mandatory in order to participate.
