Lake George Elementary School students recently showed that even the youngest learners can make a big difference through their participation in the American Heart Challenge.
A total of 76 students from Pre-K through sixth grade took part in the challenge, learning about heart health, helping others, and supporting a meaningful cause that can save lives. Through their efforts, 48 students raised an impressive $6,348.39, supporting the American Heart Association and its mission to save lives through education, research, and advocacy.

Beyond fundraising, students also gained life-saving knowledge. Fifteen students learned hands-only CPR and the signs of a stroke, equipping them with skills that could one day help save a life. These lessons reinforced the importance of awareness, quick action, and caring for others.
Several students truly went above and beyond in their fundraising efforts, demonstrating incredible dedication throughout the American Heart Challenge. Leading the way were Charlotte P., Ryan L., Gemma W., Lawson M., Carter B., and Wyatt L., whose outstanding contributions helped make the event such a success.
The American Heart Challenge at Lake George Elementary was more than just a fundraiser, it was an opportunity for students to learn, lead, and make a positive impact on their community. LGES is proud of all the students who participated and helped make this event such a success.
