Lake George Elementary School will be holding Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten Round-up from April 27-April 28, 2026.
Registration for new Pre-Kindergarten students for the 2026-2027 school year will take place on Monday, April 27. Children who will be four years old on or before December 1, 2026 and live in the Lake George School District are eligible to be enrolled. At this time, Lake George Elementary School is able to offer 18 spots for Pre-Kindergarten. A lottery to select students for these spots will be held on Monday, February 23. The sign-up for the lottery closed on Friday, February 13. Students not selected by the lottery will automatically be added to a waitlist.
Registration for new Kindergarten students for the 2026-2027 school year will take place on Tuesday, April 28. Children who will be five years old on or before December 1, 2026 and live in the Lake George School District are eligible to be enrolled. Children who are already enrolled at Lake George Elementary School for Pre-Kindergarten this school year do not need to enroll again for Kindergarten.
A “Round-Up Parent Information Night,” for parents only, to discuss the “Round-Up” process and meet the Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Teams, will be held on Monday, March 23 in the Little Theater at Lake George Elementary School. The Pre-Kindergarten program will be held at 5:30 p.m. and the Kindergarten program will be held at 6:30 p.m.
Parents must bring their child’s proof of age, immunization records and proof of residency in the Lake George School District to their Round-Up appointment. Registration paperwork will be mailed to all families on our Kindergarten and Prekindergarten lists.
