Across our community, many families are feeling the impact of rising costs and financial pressures. We know these challenges may grow more significant in the coming weeks due to the pause or reduction in SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) Benefits for some families. We know that many people rely on the support provided through these funds, and that this could have a significant impact on your family or a family you may know. Please know that you are not alone, and support is available for our Lake George Families. Please see the resources below:

Tri-County United Way Support:

In addition, you can also dial 2-1-1 for free, confidential help finding food pantries, transportation support and additional resources. 2-1-1 is a public service available to anyone in Warren, Washington, and North Saratoga Counties. Lake George School Food Service:

Please know that the suspension of SNAP funding does not impact our Lake George School Food service. All Lake George students will continue to have access to free breakfast and lunch during the school day.
