The Lake George Central School District welcomed families, community members, staff, and local organizations on Monday, August 24, to celebrate the grand opening of the district’s new Transportation Facility.
It was a beautiful day for the celebration, with a wonderful turnout from throughout the Lake George community. Guests had the opportunity to tour the new facility, meet members of the district’s transportation team, enjoy refreshments, and learn more about the organizations that serve and support local students, families, and residents.
The event also featured a Community Showcase, bringing together local nonprofits and organizations including the Lake George Alumni Association, Lake George Scholarship Association, CWI, Lake George Battlefield Alliance, Lake George EMS, Caldwell Library, Ronald McDonald House Family Retreat at Krantz Cottage, Kringle Kottage, Lake George Rotary, Lake George Land Conservancy, Lake George Music Festival, LGA, Wiawaka Women’s Center and others.
Lake George CSD extends a sincere thank you to each organization that participated and to the many families and community members who came out to celebrate.
The grand opening marked an exciting milestone for the district and an opportunity to celebrate something equally important; the strong community partnerships that make Lake George such a special place to live and learn.
