Congratulations to the Lake George VEX Robotics Team on another exciting tournament win. Lake George entered the Liverpool Regional Championship Qualifier with 50 teams in attendance. After last year's early round losses, the Lake George crew and bots arrived prepared, taking an early lead in the rankings. 64040B led by Nick Wagemann, Ben Montville, and Sophie Unkauf, were narrowly edged in the in a thrilling semifinal.
64040C, Zach Bruno, and Anthony Halliday overcame an early stall and battled back to take the tournament championship as well as the Overall Skills Champ. Once again, Lake George 64040A's Gianna Fasulo, Camden Wolfield, and Jonah Cocozza took the highest honor in receiving the Excellence award.
