Second grade teacher, Alex Poetzsch said, “The students got to participate in a variety of outdoor games to promote and think about inclusion. They thoroughly enjoyed the activities while working together and having fun at the same time. It was a great afternoon!” This debut event for young athletes came before the evening kickoff of the Special Olympics state games, which was the largest to date in the region!
