The Lake George Elementary School Science Fair Action Team, in collaboration with student leadership, was proud to present the 2022 Science Fair. The Science Fair will have a museum theme this year, with topics including:
Technology, STEM, Engineering
All students K-6 had the opportunity to complete a project proposal for the Science Fair. Once their topics were approved, students then worked on their projects at home either individually or with a partner.
From 3D printing to tornados to welding, the Science Fair had something for everyone! With over 50 projects to visit, attendees learned how salt and ice make ice cream, how a pickle can conduct electricity, how a volcano can erupt, and more!
There was also an exhibition by the Lake George High School VEX Robotics team that recently won the NYS Championship.
“We are so proud of everyone’s hard work. It was a great night for our students and families,” said LGES Principal Jim Conway. “Thank you to Deb Quillinan and all members of the Science Fair Action Team. Our students were so excited to share their projects and it was wonderful to have our families at LGES! The sense of pride in our school was evident tonight in many ways. Thank you to everyone that contributed to make the science fair another LGES success!”
