Lake George Elementary Students are rocking science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) challenges!
Young Scholars in grades 5 and 6 answered a tower challenge. Using only two materials ~ a paper cup and craft sticks ~ partners were challenged to work together to build the tallest tower possible.
Third grade STEM students read "Iggy Peck Architect" and then worked with a partner to design and construct a LEGO bridge that spanned a river. The challenge was, the bridge had to hold four “students.”
Sixth grade STEM students constructed a paper roller coaster using cardstock. Their challenge was to keep a marble moving as long as possible.
