Students Host Air Band for the First Time!
What set the 2020 Air Band apart from previous years? This year's competition was run by students! Sixth grade hosts Cody LeBarron and Jason Ludlow did a fantastic job introducing the acts, telling jokes between the acts, and announcing the winners. Additionally, Lake George Jr.-Sr. High School students volunteered backstage and in the lighting/sound booth.
Students and staff took advantage of the opportunity to showcase their talents in almost every genre of music for a fun evening of family entertainment.

Best Team Work – Margaret Cocozza and Brooklyn Cornell for their performance of Don't Stop Me Now by Queen
Best Song from a Movie – Maddison O'Reilly and Malarie Schoonover for their performance of Greased Lightnin' from Grease
Most Colorful – Evva Congel and Emily Seelye for their performance of Shake it Off by Taylor Swift
Best Lip Syncing – Bella Brown, Rachael Evanek, Maddie Meader, and Maria O'Connor for their performance of Proud Mary by Tina Turner
Most Humorous – Jeffrey Lynn and Will Sheldon for their performance of Somebody to Love by the Blues Brothers
Most Fun – Madyson Brennan, Olivia Duers, Dylan Johnson, Addison Merrigan, Clara Palladino, Addison Reinhold, Sophia Stark, and Julia Wolfield for their performance of Come Alive from The Greatest Showman
Best Song Choice – Maddie Gilles, Neveah Howe, Ella Montville, and Libby Pape for their performance of Headphones by Britt Nicole
Most Energetic – Hailey Canale, Sarah Evanek, Annie Fish, Abby Green, and Eva Kelly, with a guest appearance by Mr. Kelly, for their performance of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper
Best Rock Performance – Kari Lynn, Violet Marcy, Lilly Montville, and Caidin Stempien for their performance of Hit Me With Your Best Shot/It's Not Unusual by Pat Benetar/Tom Jones
