FBLA Makes Chapter History

It is with great pride and excitement that we report that for the first time in chapter history, Lake George FBLA qualified for 10 national events!

Congratulations to the following students who qualified to represent NYS at the National FBLA Leadership Conference in San Antonio, TX June 29-July 2, 2019:

  • Mattie Williams: Business Law AND Community Service Project
  • Jack Mellon: Healthcare Administration, Client Services
  • Madeleine Biles and Jack Mellon: Publication Design
  • Jordan Edwards: Computer Applications
  • Dylan Seale and Alice Fox: Digital Video Production
  • Alice Fox and Ryan Quirk: Introduction to Business Presentation
  • Ryan Quirk: Impromptu Speaking
  • Megan Gianchetti: Introduction to Public Speaking

Also at the FBLA State Leadership Conference, Madeleine Biles was elected as NYS Vice President of District 5.


Eleven students from the Lake George Chapter attended the NYS Leadership Conference: Madeleine Biles, Alice Fox, Megan Gianchetta, Katie O'Donnell, Jordan Edwards, Dylan Seale, Mattie Williams, Jack Mellon, Ryan Quirk, Sakina Tariq, Devlin Monroe. 


More Accolades
Mattie Williams and Autumn Shaughnessy were recognized as the 2018-2019 Outstanding Education Students by the Business and Marketing Educators’ Association of the Capital District.

In addition, Autumn was selected to receive a $500 scholarship from the association to pursue her college degree.
