School Messenger Emergency Alert System
The Lake George Central School District uses SchoolMessenger for immediate notification in high priority situations such as:
- Snow days
- Unanticipated early release
The district also sends emails via SchoolMessenger from administrators.
Emails, phone calls, and backpack reminders will remain in place as the primary methods of communication to support home-school connections.
We want all parents and guardians to understand that you may be getting phone calls at 5 a.m. in the event of a snow day or delay. If you prefer not to be woken up at 5 a.m., please use the directions below to set your notification preferences online.

If this is your first time utilizing this site you need to click on “SIGN UP”
You MUST use an email address that is on file in our student management system, SchoolTool.
Set your notification preferences by clicking on the menu icon in the top left corner and choosing "preferences."
If you don't see "Preferences," contact Natalie Fullen. Please be aware that the system will allow you to create an account, but it won't be attached to the school's system so you won't receive alerts.
Click on each message type and change your notifications by clicking or unclicking the green checkmark.
Then select "save."
The system requires you to have at least one phone number for "Non-School Hour Emergencies" and "School Hour Emergencies." The General category will include messages about delays or closings, and you can add or remove all forms of contact.
Receive Text Messages
You must share at least one wireless number with the district, and you must opt in each number on which you would like to receive a text message.
To opt, text "Y" to 67587 from each wireless number.
