Strategic Plan Process

  • The Board of Education began discussing the concept of a strategic plan in 2015-16. An Ad-Hoc committee was formed, and three strategic planning organizations were interviewed. In the spring of 2016, Capital Area School Development Association (CASDA) was chosen to guide the district through the process of developing a strategic plan.

After an eight-month process, the Strategic Planning Committee (SPARC) created the following Mission, Vision, and Values, which the LGCSD Board of Education adopted at its August 2017 meeting. SPARC consists of stakeholders from parents, students, staff, community members, Board of Education members, and administrators.
