Dear Lake George Students, Parents, and Community Members,
It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that I join you as the superintendent of the Lake George Central School District. Becoming the superintendent of Lake George is a dream come true for me, and I am incredibly excited and honored to serve as the superintendent. I want to thank the Lake George Board of Education for their confidence in me and I appreciate their support and encouragement.
I was so fortunate to have been appointed by the board of education in April. This allowed me to engage in significant transition time with many members of this district. I especially want to thank interim superintendent Dr. Douglas Huntley for providing me with additional transition opportunities over the last few months. This time together has allowed us to create a framework for continued success here in Lake George.
Attached you will find my entry plan which outlines ways in which I intend to listen and learn about the Lake George Central School District. Building relationships is an essential priority as I begin my leadership role. I intend to meet with a variety of stakeholders and community members and to really get to know the Lake George community. I believe in being present and visible, and you will see me at school and community events. I am eager for us to get to know one another!
