Astronomy Club - Mr. Wells

Astronomy Club meets one Thursday each month to  discuss astronomical phenomena and events, and to plan our nighttime viewing sessions.

When the astronomical timing is right and weather conditions are favorable, we meet in the evening to use the Science Department telescopes to view the various celestial objects visible, such as; the Moon, planets, star clusters, galaxies, nebulae, comets, etc.

We also take an annual field trip to a planetarium or some other location/event of astronomical interest. In the past we have gone to the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, The Museum of Science in Boston, The Space for Life in Montreal.
