FAFSA4caster  By using FAFSA4caster, you and your family will receive an early estimate of eligibility for federal student aid.  Information you provide to FAFSA4caster can be automatically filled in on the online FAFSA when it is time to actually apply for financial aid.

The Student Guide  Published by the U.S. Department of Education that reviews the key elements of federal financial aid programs.  Copies of this publication are available in the counseling office.

FAFSA on the Web  -- Get information about, and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. Copies of the FAFSA are available in the counseling office for families that prefer to file a paper copy.. The FAFSA may be filed anytime after January first of the senior year. Families with more than one child in college must file separate FAFSA paperwork for each child.

Get Your PINEstablish your PIN number This is an essential step that will allow you to access information about your application and sign your application electronically.. Establish a separate pin for student and parent.

CSS PROFILE  --  Online application site for the PROFILE form (required by a limited number of colleges) Copies of this publication are available in the counseling office.  Part 1 of the PROFILE can be filed beginning in mid-September of the senior year.
Click here to get help filling out your Express Tap Application.New York State TAP Application.  This site provides information on filling out the Express Tap Application (ETA) which you should receive automatically once you have filed the FAFSA and have indicated that you've applied to at least one school in New York State (public or private).

Counseling Center Scholarship List   This is a listing of scholarship applications that we have received in the counseling office.  After reviewing this list, stop in and pick up any that apply to you or visit the web site provided to access an application.

This application is due to the counseling center April 22nd, 2008..

For Lake George Seniors only.  This application is updated each April and allows Lake George seniors to apply to multiple local scholarships using one form.  Mr. Preuss distributes this form to seniors during an extended guideroom and explains how to fill it out.
  Fast Web  -- a popular, comprehensive site that not only provides a wealth of information, but will contact you as new scholarships come along that relate to your interests.

College Board Scholarship Search -- allows you to enter self-descriptive information to locate scholarships relevant to your background, abilities, and interests.

ROTC Scholarship Programs Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) programs provide military training while you attend college.  These programs can provide full tuition scholarships for four years and monthly stipends while in school.  Offered by: Army, Navy, Air Force
Other Scholarship Search Websites Go to a list of scholarship web sites maintained by the New York State Financial Aid Administrator's Association (NYSFAAA).
Lake George Scholarship Association The LGSA provides numerous scholarships to graduating Lake George seniors through community fundraising and donations.  It is our Dollars for Scholars chapter. Seniors interested in applying for LGSA scholarships must complete the local scholarship application (see above) in the Spring of senior year.
