Tutoring
Tutoring can help to clarify and reinforce what a student is learning in class.  Tutoring should not replace the regular or extra help the student receives from his/her classroom teacher, but should be an added resource that the student utilizes when needed  The tutoring resources available at Lake George Jr-Sr High School fall into two main categories:
Volunteer Student Tutors -- members of Junior Honor Society and Senior Honor Society may be available to work with students during common free periods/study halls or after school (10th period).
Private Tutors -- The counseling office maintains a list of adults who can be hired to tutor students in specific subjects.  Fees and schedule are arranged between the parent and the tutor.
