STOCK MARKET SAFARI
Welcome to the Stock Market Safari!
You are about to embark on a 9-week adventure that will take you, by way of the
internet, through the ins and outs of the stock market.
You and your partner will be investing $10,000 on your choice of stocks and/or mutual
funds.
Your first step is to research and choose your commodities. Over the next 9 weeks you
will then keep track of the progression of your investments in a portfolio.

- Number of shares
- Total value of each commodity
- 1% broker fees
- Net value for each commodity

- Compare the progress of your stock during these nine weeks to it's progress 1 year ago,
5 years ago, or at a critical point in the company's history.
- Write to the company for information, and include your correspondance and anything
you've gained from the correspondance.
- Write a "journal" of your reflections during the course of this project. What
have you learned? Did you enjoy the experience? Were you surprised by your stock's
progress? Were you disappointed.
