The Lake George High School Foreign Language Department, in conjunction with AATF (American Association of Teachers of French) have established a charter to run a chapter of the National French Honor Society called "St. Sacrement". Mme Frost and M. Hughes have established local bylaws which have been accepted by the national organization. We are in the process of inviting Junior and Senior students who have achieved the minimum academic standards to become members. We anticipate an awards ceremony in early November, during La Semaine du Français, or National French Week (November 2-8, 2005).
