Reminder: Our Forum Representative election will be held today in Barb Conner’s room 115 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. There are six (6) candidates for four (4) positions. You must choose 4 candidates for your ballot to be counted. Candidates are, in alphabetical order: Carol Heller, Jen Johnston, Janine Kandora, Niki McGrath; Michele Niedermeyer, Rob Spath.

STUDENT NEWS

All Effective Schools Committee Members: Our meeting for June is being rescheduled for Tuesday at 2:30. It will be a short meeting, but all members need to attend.

Thanks to all who helped at the bike wash yesterday. We made over $850 yesterday – see you there again today from 3-7 p.m.

Senior Ball Tickets are now on sale! They will only be sold during 6^th period outside the cafeteria. Seniors do not have to pay, all others are $20.00. If you have any questions see Ali Canavan or Theresa Schiavo.

Extra yearbooks are now on sale in Mrs. Heller’s room 108. Cost is $50. Purchase yours ASAP.

The district is running a photo contest to find a great picture of the lake for our new website. If you want to enter a photo you have taken, bring it in to the main office and fill out an entry form. If it's in a digital format, you can send it to Mr. Strauss at straussr@lkgeorge,org. A prize of $25 has been offered to the winner. It will be used on the district home page of our new website.

Students: Today is the last day to bring the parent survey sent by the PTSO.

MUSIC TODAY

Graduation music rehearsals: In order to participate you must come to at least 5 of the following rehearsals:

Friday, June 6 – 10^th period

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, June 17^th, 18^th 19^th – 11:45-12:30

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, June 24^th, 25^th, 26^th – 11:45-12:30

SPORTS

All 7^th-11^th graders interested in playing on the golf team next year should come to the organizational meeting this Monday, June 9^th during 10^th period in Mr. Elder’s room.

Any girl in grades 7 – 11 who is interested in playing field hockey next fall please meet in the cafeteria on Tuesday, June 10 at 2:40.

Any girl in grades 7-11 who is interested in playing soccer in the fall meet in the gym on Monday, June 9^th at 2:40.

Attention Track team: Clean track uniforms must be returned to Mr. Guidetti in room 14 ASAP. Students who are going to the State Qualifiers are the exceptions!

Tri-County Middle League sign up sheet is posted outside Mr. Clark’s office. There will be a brief meeting for all students trying out for middle league today after school in the cafeteria.

Attention Senior Athletes: Today is the last day to purchase Senior Athlete Awards Banquet tickets. Panic has to give a count to Roaring Brook tomorrow (Friday)! So far we have 10 people attending out of the anticipated 160 possible people that should be attending. Buy your tickets during the high school lunch periods by Friday!! Athletes are paid for by the Athletic Booster Club and all other tickets are $20. Checks should be made payable to Lake George Varsity Club.

The Track & Field State Qualifiers are today. The list of team members leaving at 1 p.m. on both days was distributed in your e-mail.
