Welcome to the Lake George Elementary School Website.

Lake George Elementary School is a K-6 building with a population of approximately 560 students. The school has a regional and nationally recognized reputation for success. We believe our success has been due to the child-centered method in which we approach the process of education. Three concepts that have enabled our faculty to work successfully with the children as individuals have been; team teaching, continuous progress education, and multiage/family grouping. In addition, we value the good communication that we have with our student's families. Parent involvement certainly contributes to the success of our school in many different ways. We enjoy a wide spectrum of community support for various programs our students are involved with. What I find to be the most exciting part of being at Lake George Elementary School is the commitment by all the members of the school community. The "stakeholders" look towards the future and work collectively on providing our students with what they need to be successful. I hope you will explore our website and find it informative.
