Welcome to the Lake George Elementary School Reading Center

The Reading Center Staff:

provides small group instruction for students that need additional support
supplements reading and writing instruction given in the classroom
collaborates with the classroom teachers to formulate consistent, effective instructional plan
administers individual assessments to determine those students who would benefit from additional support
offers the option of the reading teacher working in the classroom or in the reading center depending on student needs
acts as a resource to classroom teachers in the area of language arts
